Welcome to Little Bitty Farm
The Little Bitty Farm and Campsite is an idea born of our own personal family values. Having had young children with a thirst for the outdoors, the simple things in life, living a high-speed life we needed weekends to unwind and reconnect.
We have reasons why camping wasn’t as accessible to us, but fortune allowed us a campervan to still be able to get away from the hustle and bustle and be amongst Britain’s most amazing scenery and historic towns and attractions new and old. We wanted to build our own campsite and worked our way up and with the help of our now adult children and Kelly’s mum we have made our dream a reality. We are still in the embryonic stage and have lots of plans for our progression and development, but we are still victim to the local councillor’s opposition so we are in the appeal stage. We are able to open legally under the pop-up campsite rules and until we win our battle this is allowing us a taste of what we can offer and how it is received.
We aim to provide a calm and relaxing atmosphere, we embrace and nurture nature, we aim to provide a symbiotic relationship with the land we own and share our wonderful landscape and facilities to others with the same values. We respect our neighbours, cherish our wildlife and grow our ecology and biodiversity with our allotments, planting and pond installations. We have a small chicken rescue we currently have over 25 rescue hens and continue to care for these as our pets. We have a small herd of alpaca who protect the hens and provide our grass with maintenance and our guests with hours of admiration.
We have an abundance of wildlife with bugs, birds, ducks, rabbits, pheasants, partridge and the odd frog and dragonfly and we encourage our guests to respect their habitat and ours. Mostly we want you to come and feel the magic, relax and enjoy the locality unwind and embrace our Little Bit of a farm and Little Bit of a campsite. Stay tuned for progress and additions we have ideas and dreams to add outdoor fire pit areas/ play area/ goat enclosure / yoga retreat and a bigger, better camp kitchen / BBQ hut…. but planning is needed, and delays are long.
No tent? No problem.
Little Bitty Farm has a number of pre-pitched sites available. These sleep 4-6 people dependent on the type and come already pitched with outdoor furniture, picnic table, heating, camp beds fridge and cooking equipment. Just bring your own sleeping bags!
